The people of Northbrook Church believe that individual study of the Scriptures is a vital part of the Christian life. Bible Reading Plans can encourage this with daily recommendations on what to read and, within some plans, reflection questions or journal prompts.

M’Cheyne Bible in a Year Plan

The M’Cheyne Reading Plan provides a daily reading plan, with 4 chapters a day to complete – 2 Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. In one year, you read through the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.

BibleProject New Testament in One Year

BibleProject takes you through the New Testament in One Year, with videos specifically designed to enhance your understanding and engagement with Scripture.

BibleProject also has “Old Testament in a Year,” alongside Psalms/Proverbs plans and more.

This 365-day chronological plan corresponds to the Bible Recap, designed to help you read, understand, and love the Bible! Daily recaps are available in podcast, video, and book form, where Tara-Leigh Cobble highlights and summarizes each day’s Bible reading.
